Jitterbug's instrumental music provides a variety of Progressive-Rock, Metal and Jazz.
Since their foundation in 2002 the German band has been performing live continously. The possibility to bring instrumental music to a wider audience is a motivation as well as an acknowledgement.
Their self-produced debut, the mini-CD new roses, is a documentary of their past work. The unique character of their music plus the additional lyrics underline the music's power and its intention.
The band's aim is to make their music enjoyable without having the character of simply being 'background-music'. Jitterbug's music is a soundtrack that invites you to a journey through different styles and genres without losing the focus on straightforward played Metal. This non-conventional mixture of improvised elements and well-arranged songstructures makes Jitterbug's music special as well as unique.
Jitterbug represents a new interpretation of Art-Rock and Progressive-Metal, or, to put it simply: Modern Art Metal.
