Jesus had days like this...

About Me

Oh, what to say? British. Muso. Singer. Pagan. Straightedge. DJ. Bassist. Writer. Ex-student (technically an archaeologist, but we'll ignore that). This may make me sound more interesting than I in fact am.
.. ..

My Interests

Music (playing, listening and creating), writing (prose, poetry and lyrics), spirituality (mainly pagan styles but I am also extremely interested in most of the religions I've read about), theology, philosophy, archaeology, reading, films, metaphysics, psychology (especially Jungian), evolutionary theory, palaeontology. Oh, and porn.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone, really. As long as they're not completely insufferable socially or some kind of ridiculously bigoted idiot.

"this is no ordinary love"

So what has happened so far this year? Not much. Lows and highs, but more of the former. On the plus side, Avalanche is going well and I have some excellent gigs coming up. On the low side, I'm having...

New all.is.dust Track

Hi there folks,For the first time in almost four years there is a new all.is.dust tune that doesn't consist of a remix. It's my first attempt to utilise Ableton Live to mix down a 'live' track, so be ...

"but who would love me now?"

It's been about 5 damn months since I last made an entry into this, but there we go. It's the wee small hours of Christmas morning, so I can make an effort. Mostly I just write in my LJ, but even that...

"it won't be so hard, not for you"

So it's been a while since I updated here. As with most things in my life, my best intentions to plug a whole load of bands on here fall by the wayside. I will try to do it again, but even small plans...

Plugfest No.1 - Goddamn Electric Bill / Mommy And Daddy / Robochrist / RSJ / Itch

Welcome to the first of these plug-fests. Here's how it works - I scour my Friends List for quality music, mostly from bands or acts who have randomly sent me invitations to listen to them. Then I flo...

"dead march"

To the disgust of some people, I seem to be spending more and more time on MySpace these days - I think the reason for this is that I miss the old mp3.com site, and this is the closest thing to it now...

"the weight of your success"

Spent the last weekend in Cheltenham chilling out with Maz, it was cool. Things in general aren't great but to whine is to be cliche, so I'll just leave it at that. Not sure what else to say really. S...

"i can't remember when this all began"

So, the internet is back. And my computer is too, albeit with some irritating grievances like not acknowledging the existance of my soundcard. Ho hum, worse things happen at sea. I've had a bit of a s...

Catalogue Of Woes

Ok, so here's the skinny. I still have no job. Due to having to stay in to oversee the British Gas people replacing our boiler I haven't even managed to sign on (although probably a great deal of that...
