Sounds Like: ... fucking great... I am not a man of many compliments but this is great... Yep.We are living interesting times. After having survived (barely for some) a non-stop drowning in a flat sea of minimalism (i love minimalism - it just needs large ideas), i can feel a slight shift in today's production. It is quite hard to finger yet: more house? more pop? more melody? more music? i don't know... It just seems that a lot of producers (even those who helped to build the minimal dictatorship) are taking chances again... "Pippo's Pleasure" is a good example. Who dares putting out club records who last 3'40"? well, maybe people who believe in pop songs. Yeah, this is a pop song, it has no lyrics (who needs them) but it has plenty of that naivity that i love and cherish. A very sincere record. God knows if we need them (Ivan Smagghe of Pippo's Pleasure)
