About Me

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, I feel like I could have been born and raised in the desert where I found my second home last year, just outside Timbuktu with the Tuareg (see Tinariwen below). My career began in theatre, modern dance and then moved into fashion. I did much catalog work between Philadelphia and New York, shows and editorial work in London and Paris and was fortunate to have worked in Cote D'Ivoire and Japan in both film and fashion. My favorite theatrical role to date is the role of Lady Macbeth which I studied intently while in England, (for a good laugh, Play Macbeth Puppet Pals ) there's something so delicious about playing a villian! I am dying to do Macbeth on FILM, with a fantastically strong actor. I have several dream choices in mind..... I am awaiting the release of an independent film called Hit To Right, I play the role of Ruth. Don't hold your breath though, it's a very low budget piece that needs distribution....(I have done so many of these, patience is a virtue). I've had roles ..rek: DS9 and Sex and the City...... My daughter, Aria and I are in a national tv commercial for Gardasil, the new vaccine for the prevention of cervical cancer, Aria is brilliant! (she's a couple of inches taller than me at 6'2"). She is such a professional. The Post Shredded Wheat and Corcoran campaigns are now running. Life is beautiful, sharing it with my husband and beautiful daughters. ....
