I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

The Bar Exam was a beast but like Mr. West says, "that that that which don't kill me, can only make me stronger." But all that hard work was worth it. Right now, I am doing a post-bar at the Public Defenders office and I even have my own office! How awesome is that? I've gone through so many changes in my life in the past few months and through it all, I can't help but smile and embrace what else is in store for me. .skem9

My Interests

I'd like to learn how to play the piano. Music has been a big part of my life and I would compose song lyrics if I had the time. No complaints though. I have truly been blessed for the life I live. One dream of mine is to be on the radio as a late night host. (Look out Theo!) Oh yeah, I also want to be a cagefighter. (But I left my bowstaff at home)

I'd like to meet:

I grew up in San Diego so I'm very laid back. I don't trip on trivial things. To me, life is about growth and progress. Your outlook on life will carry you a long way. Stay positive and leave the world a better place than how you found it. I love meeting new people, even those who are full of drama because they make things interesting. But I am here to find new friends who are genuine and down to earth and who know how to have a good time.

Music:

This is my true passion. Music is universal in its connection. It might have different sounds and include different languages but the message is the same. It tells a story that everybody can relate to. I love most genres of music except for heavy metal and hardcore rap. What I listen to most of the time is Hip Hop and R&B. People have always told me I should be on the radio. Probably because of my smooth Barry White voice. :) But seriously, I wanted to host one of those late night dedication shows. Who knows. Maybe one day.

Movies:

Any good horror film, drama, or comedy.

Television:

Modern Marvels, Wrapped Up, Court T.V., and most reality shows.

Books:

No time. I have enough from school.

Heroes:

My mother and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

To Malta baby!

I've never been a person who liked to travel.  Maybe its because I am a creature of habit.  Maybe I am too cautious for my own good.  Whatever the reason, traveling the world at this po...

The Criminals Know

It seems as though crime happens at the most inopportune times.  Last year, about 1 week before finals, I had my car stolen.  Luckily for me, the loser was caught after a few days while he w...

Buck the system

The more I learn about the law, the more discouraged I get.  Our criminal legal system was designed to ensure a defendant the opportunity to be heard and a fair hearing.  That's just simply ...
