I am not particularly asset rich. The sum of my terrestrial possessions include: 1 Saeco 'kick-ass' Vienna coffee machine (the spot of all worship in my household), 1 Gola jacket, 1 Industrie jacket, 1 Adidas vintage jacket, many more ubercool jackets with no brands to their name. A pair of Le Coq Sportifs, a pair of Adidas Stan Smiths, a pair of Gallaz, many more ubercool shoes picked up from the streets of Korea with no brands to their name. The music I love is often generically referred to as weird music, but this weird music keeps me going and the pursuit of weirder music, one of the few things which remain constant. I worship Radiohead, Godspeed You Black Emperor, Belle and Sebastian as much as I worship Wagner, Berlioz, Rachmaninov. I'm not as much of a snob as I may seem. I enjoy the banal and prosaic things in life at times too; when you speak to me in the language of hokkien, beer, kopi-si or football, you appeal to me at my most private and most intimate. I love food - very much. I splurge on food, music, books, gadgets, such that you wouldn't suspect I don't hold a steady income. I still refuse to put on hairbands, having sported this post-coital coiffure for as long as anyone can remember: I do make an exception though, when on all fours peering into the innards of my lovely PC (named Stud). Above all, I love tipping the velvet most (yes, the act that has inspired the book and the mini-series..). If you do too, you should drop me a line and we could work out something...
