Growing up I've always loved looking at family pictures, picking out the ones I liked most. I'd laugh at pictures of my cousin and I doing crazy things. Hiding in boxes and running about. Those were always my favorites.
My photography journey began in 2003 when my mom bought our first ever digital camera. I had three cats at the time, and two of the three each just had a litter of kittens. They were my main subject, what I loved to photograph. As time went on my love for photography grew and grew, and I wanted to learn more. I stumbled across Betterphoto.com and learned a lot from the amazing photographers there. In 2004 I got my own digital camera, a Fuji A210. It inspired me to experiment a lot more. I stretched from millions of pictures of cats to nature and macro. At the time, I'd been viewing some of the work here at DeviantART and was extremely impressed, but a bit nervous to enter such a huge community. I went through with it, however.. and I'd be no where near where I am now if I hadn't. I recently got a Canon Rebel (I'm sticking with this one for awhille.. really.) and I'm continuing to learn with it. As for the future, I really would love to make photography a career and hopefully i'll be able to achieve that goal.
