I Moved to California, Ingelwood then San Luis Opispo, then baywood park/Los osos where I grew up playing in the Eucaliptus trees throwing dirt-clogs at my life long friends/family. I loved growing up in an area that felt as if the village raised me and every family I knew had a significant impact on my life.
I Moved to Oregon to work for Hewlett Packard right out of high school (which was a good idea if you knew me then.... almost got run out of town with pitchforks and torches), and attended Oregon State. Six years of rain sucked so after school and a quick stay in Fort Collins Colorado I moved to heaven on earth aka whistler Blackcomb.
I stayed in Whistler for 6 months before deciding to take a break from reality and teach snowboarding at Northstar at Tahoe. In my first year I made Adult Instructor of the year and children’s instructor of the year. I also received the coveted MVP award from the mountain. Although I wanted to stay only one year, 5 years went by. Every year I was awarded something, but after 5 years I decided to return to the real world. currently I work for a company out of Carson city, and live in the Galena (south Reno) area. I ride every chance I get, but it'll never be able to put the 150+ days a year that I could working the resort.
I had some great times working the resort but even working three different jobs (Instructor/supervisor, bartender, IT technician) and constantly developing new programs for Burton or Northstar, it wasn't enough to pay the bills or provide a future for me.
Although I've been on a pc since I was a kid, I finally broke down and created my My Space profile in Dec 06'. I hope you enjoy and can learn something from my life experiences... See you on the slopes, or the beach.... ~Moh
