Are we there yet?!?!?!?

About Me

I'm finally 21 years old, going to school at TCU as a Communication Studies major, and I can't wait to finally graduate and be on my own. I'm really looking forward to experiencing all that life has to offer me, and meeting the people that will help me along the way. Here's to life!

Remember the Lost- in memory of those who perished April 16th, 2007 at Virginia Tech. Godspeed.

Here are some pictures from my Study Abroad in London, July 2006

My Interests

Cars, dirtbikes and streetbikes, any sort of racing motorized vehicles, reading and watching good movies, hanging out with friends who truly care, watching sports, playing with dogs, learning how to cook and bake like my mother, and taking care of the people I love.

I'd like to meet:

friends. Especially friends who will always be there, who will care no matter what, and who will take me for every attribute and fault I have. I consider myself a fiercely loyal person, but don't expect my trust unless you have earned it.

Your Candy Heart Says "First Kiss"
You're a true romantic who brings an innocent hope to each new relationship.
You see the good in every person you date, and you relish each step of falling in love.

Your ideal Valentine's Day date: a romantic dinner your sweetie cooks for you

Your flirting style: friendly and sweet

What turns you off: cynics who don't believe in romance

Why you're hot: you always keep the romance alive What Does Your Candy Heart Say?

Music:

I love just about any kind of music, except maybe emo or R&B. I love Texas Country, really any kind of country, hard rock, soft rock, classic rock, even rap. My CD collection consists of a bunch of mixes to fit each of my moods.

Movies:

Way too many to fit in such a small space. I like movies from almost every category, except the really stupid ones lol. I think my favorite movie of all time is definately Top Gun though, closely followed by Love Actually. I like dramas, comedies, romantic comedies (see chick flicks), actions, sci-fi, and SOME thrillers.

Here are some of my favorite black & white pictures I took while in London and Paris

Television:

My "shows" include Friends, (well, reruns and DVD's), Alias, Nip/Tuck, the OC, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, CSI whenever I catch it, and old classic family shows like the ones I grew up on.

Books:

Now this is definately too long of a list to post. I love romance novels, murder mysteries, and even good old classics. Right at the top of the list right now are definately the Harry Potter books, also I like Nora Roberts, James Patterson, Sue Grafton, John Grisham, Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, and so much more. I'll read just about anything I can get my hands on! New favorite: Leanings, collections of motorcycle articles written by Peter Egan, feature writer for CycleWorld magazine. It's great reading.

Heroes:

I admire people who are loyal, true to themselves, and above all kind and generous to those around them. Those people who are in my life now know how much they each mean to me, and how grateful I am for each of their individual influences. You are all lending a hand to help me become a better person, so thank you.

I LOVE this song!

I know it's probably the silliest, most unfitting song ever, but I just love it!  I jam out every time I listen to it.... in fact, I'm jamming now! LOL  ...
