I'm a nice, mostly normal, and slightly goofy girl. It's what's on the inside that's important to me. I love the compliments my looks get, but try to put that aside and find my brain and then you'll figure out what I'm all about.
I'll try anything once, some things twice if I think I wasn't paying much attention. Art is a huge part of my life, I sketch, paint, take photographs, and have tried just about everything else, with varying results. I want to see the world from a perspective that no one else has thought of before.
The people close to me are the most important thing in my life, I have a great family and friends I can count on always.
I'm open and easy-going. I can be quiet. I love watching the sunsets down by the water (or rise after staying up all night). I spend a lot of time outside, it gives me the space to think and breathe a little bit. I can be serious when I have to. I'm ambitious and driven to the point of being a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to work. But I do have an offbeat sense of humor, and I laugh at the dumbest things. I can be sarcastic, silly, and just plain stupid in the span of a few minutes. My whole personality is all over the place, and my interests can be pretty diverse... it's not weird for me to be doing yoga to screamo music. I like to read long books with small print and no pictures, but love to watch movies where things blow up. I like leafy green vegetables, but am a hopeless sugar-addict. Oh well, c'est la vie!
On that note... this past summer I went through a lot of changes in my life, some good, some difficult. I've laughed, loved, and even fallen flat on my face a couple of times but I'm a stronger and better person because of it. It all made me realize that I can and should always be just myself with no apologies, and less afraid to know and say how I feel. I owe a lot of it to one unique guy who captured my imagination and heart... even if it was just for the summer. He still can make me smile just by being himself, and I know he's always got my back when I need a friend. "That's life", I guess.
