Anything fun! Catching up with old friends, going out and partying as if I don't work the next morning, staying home and watching a good movie... or just sleeping. hahah
I'd like to meet someone who could love and accept everyone unconditionally. Someone who wouldn't judge people, who wouldn't pretend to be one thing, while right under the surface they were something else. Who is that person? I have yet to find them.
I cannot begin to name all the bands, artists, songs, types of music, etc. that I can't live without! I'm extremely eclectic when it comes to my taste in music. One minute I can be jammin out to Oasis and Depeche Mode, the next I'm listening to Beyonce and Gwen, and then the next I'm pouring my heart out with Tim McGraw and Celine Dion. So you see, I can't say, "OH I looove 80s" or "Rock ROX!" or "Any love song works!" I enjoy them all!!! A few that are personal favorites, though, arrrrre (drumroll please!): Yellowcard, Oasis, Mana, U2, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Cure, Incubus, Duran Duran, Nelly Furtado, Madonna, Ben Harper, Depeche Mode, Green Day, Queen, Gwen Stefani, Jack Johnson, 311, Ben Folds (5), The Killers, Coldplay, Nikka Costa, Juanes, Sarah McLachlan, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tears For Fears, Human League, Blessed Union Of Souls, Patty Griffin, Rufus Wainwright, Edwin McCain, George Straight, aaaand my guy, Adam Sandler! AHAHA
Let the list begin: Mulholland Dr.,The Guru,A Goofy Movie,Legends Of The Fall,Interview With A Vampire,Fight Club,A River Runs Through It, (yes, yes, Brad Pitt fan!),The Emperor's New Groove,The Punisher,Elektra,Kill Bill (vol I N II),Anywhere But Here,Elizabeth,Aladdin,The Cell,Fahrenheit 9/11,Bowling For Columbine,First Knight,Thirteen,The Outsiders,Now N Then,Connie N Carla,Cinderella,American Beauty,Legend,The Green Mile,Joan Of Arc,Saved!,The Blob,Romeo & Juliet,Like Water For Chocolate,Happy Gilmore,The Wedding Singer,Mr. Deeds,Grandma's Boy,Big Daddy (but NOT Punch-Drunk Love, blah!),The Little Mermaid,Requiem For A Dream,....And I'll add more as I think of them.
Ugh, I'm sad that I don't have my fix of Gale Harold, but Queer As Folk will always be my favorite show. The L Word is a strong second...hehe Ummm, Nip/Tuck, Everybody Loves Raymond, old Saved By The Bell (lol don't laugh), and really anything that I can watch without having to think.
If you ever know only one thing about me, know that I LOVE depressing books. Don't ask me why. Perhaps in some twisted way I feel a sort of relief from listening about others' suffering. Wait, that sounds a little postal doesn't it? Let's just put it this way...you feel like your problems are the worst, but then someone comes along with worse problems and then your life doesn't seem so bad after all. Just a few I recommend are:Bastard Out Of Carolina,Trash,Summer Sisters,Dream Boy,Winter Birds,A Child Called "IT",The Lost Boy,A Man Named Dave,The Alchemist,1984...See? Told ya...A few I've recently fallen in love with are by Gregory Maguire... Wicked, of course, Mirror Mirror, and what I was able to read of Confessions Of An Evil Stepsister. And I never got to finish Son Of A Witch... grrr.
