Sazed Ul Alam,
born in a family of artists and musicians of Bangladesh and youngest of all his 15 brothers and sisters he began his musical career with his own group The Souls, at the age of 15. Sazed has travelled vastly to different places of India and Europe to perfect his skill on sitar, guitar and many other instruments and has been deeply involved in Indian classical music. In his expanded musical experience, this polytechnic musician has raised the scenes with electric guitar, tabla and many other ethnic instruments although his most skillness dominates on the sitar.
Sazed has studied for many years the Indian Classical Music under the guidance of different Indian teachers such as Achariya Sri Pandit Bimlendu Mukherjee, Ustad Jamal Uddin Bhartiya, Roshan Jamal, Ashit Banerjee, Raj Bhan Singh and Badri Maharaj.
He has also made fusion music of traditional Indian music in various different projects together with artists like Nacho Cano, Giovanni Hidalgo, Willian Cepeda, Amores, Omar Sosa and many others. In the same way, he also has performed for the King of Sweden and the boxer star Muhammed Ali.
At the moment he resides in Elche south of Spain, where he interprets, composes and gives classes on all the different instruments that he dominates.
In addition, it's in this city, he has relaunched his old group "The Souls Band" that fuses different music styles as rock, pop, jazz, funk, and reggae, in a magical, colourful, polyrhythmic and spiritual manner which is really original.
