About Me

My name is Katie, but I go by a lot of different "pet names". I've lived in Charleston basically my whole life, but I have also lived in Lancaster, SC, Columbia, SC, and Cincinnati, OH. I've travelled the United States in a cross-country road trip that lasted 2+ months, I've also visited Hawaii (on a seperate occasion), and I spent 2 months (plus) in Europe, visiting England, France, Italy, Denmark, and Germany (where I stayed with family for a month). You could definately say that Charleston is not my only cultural influence.
I'm currently attending Trident Technical College until I tranfer over to the College of Charleston, which I'm hoping to have done in the Spring of 2008. Ultimately, I would like to achieve a Doctorate in Psychology and a Masters in Neuroscience or Microbiology/Molecular Biology (Genetics). The field I'm hoping to break into is Experimental Psychology and I'm highly interested in taking part in The Human Genome Project one day.

* I am an exibitionist
* I care very deeply for my friends, they are special to me
* I don't mind going out of my way for someone I care about
* I have a very illustrious past that bites me in the ass sometimes
* I am often underestimated
* I'm a walking contradiction
* I love being who I am and wouldn't have it any other way
I think I'm supposed to be describing my personality in this little section...and I think I've done a bit of that through the above text in an indirect way. If I were to actually say how I view myself, you'd probably find that you may have a completely different view, so why share? I wouldn't want to taint any ideas that anyone would have of me prior to them actually finding out for themselves...so you know the deal- if you want to know more, feel free to message me. I admit that messaging me does not necessarily merit a response, but it appears that that's an option you may have to deal with.
