About Me
Heeeeey...so lately, I've been in the mood to meet new people. My friend recommended that I try this out. I know this is the Personals section, but my main purpose on here is to just meet new people I can possibly be friends with. If we have a mutual connection beyond the friends level, then maybe it'll become something more. But initially, I'm not expecting anything. Afterall, I think the best relationships are when two people have a solid friendship to begin with.

Hmm...what to say about myself...I'm an intelligent, independent, non-materialistic, down-to-earth, easily amused, non-girly girl. I find that I can easily get along with guys. Of course, I do have my share of close girlfriends too. I work full-time for a software company in Sterling. Since work takes up the majority of my time during the week, on weekends, I try to take the 2 days that I have to relax and have some fun. Depending on what I'm in the mood for, my weekend activities varies from just staying in and watching a movie to going downtown and dancing! I also like spending time with my family and friends. I just try to mix it up and do a little bit of everything.

As far as someone I'd like to meet...Basically, I'm looking for an honest and genuine guy to get to know. Someone I can hang out with - go out to restaurants, watch movies, laugh and be silly, trade childhood stories, and most importantly, someone I can learn from. I love meeting new people who are passionate about something (or things) and having them share it with me. I get excited when someone talks to me about something they're an expert on. I just love learning new things through the interest and passion of others! (If you couldn't already tell, I'm a big dork. Well, mentioning that I work for a software company should've tipped you off right away..hehe) I could go on and on about what kind of person I'd like to meet, but that can go on and on and on (a lot longer than this already is...). Anyway, just to reiterate, the #1 thing is just be an honest person. Oh yea, one other thing - I can't stand people who are WAY too into their looks!

Wow, if you've read this far, I'm impressed! I guess I have the tendency to ramble on. One more thing I do want to mention, just so there aren't any surprises: like I mentioned in my profile, I've got a few extra pounds. So if you're a guy who can't handle getting to know someone who doesn't have a "perfect body", then I guess that's your loss :o) I understand that everyone's got their preferences, so it's totally cool. You're the one who's gonna be missing out on my awesomeness!

I'm wrapping this up, i swear...I have plans of going skydiving, going to Cedar Point, and traveling to Australia in this lifetime. If any of these sound interesting to you (or if you've read up to this point), definitely send me something :o)
