Myra was born in Caloocan City/Manila, in the Philippines.
At the age of five she started making music for the first time. She took singing lessons and learned to play bass and keyboards. At the age of twelve she wrote her first song in English. Early Myra recognized that music was her one and only real compassion. “Music is always there for me and will never leave me! It doesn’t matter how I feel…music makes me aware of a lot of things in life lets me experience them much more intensive…it is every second of my life and makes it very precious, and for that I’m thankfulâ€, Myra states.
In 1993 she founded her first band together with Daniel Nitt (Publicyte Media, Xavier Naidoo, Dante Thomas). They started out by playing cover songs, but soon realized that it would be better to write their own songs. Two years later the band broke up still keeping contact until today.
In the mid nineties took part in her first casting, a VJ-Casting for the German music TV-channel VIVA, but with only 14 years she was still too young for the program. Nevertheless, Myra was ambitious enough to continue with her career. In 1996 she finished her first solo album 25-11, which was not published. However, soon she was well known in the region of upper Franconia, and seen on stage as part of the pre-show of Grandmaster Flash.
In 2000 Myra introduced her second unassigned solo album Life goes on. The media became interested in her work and her song “Here with me†was aired by the regional radio station Antenne Bayern.
Due to the introduction of numerous TV casting shows in Germany (Popstars, Deutschland sucht den Superstar, Star Search, Inscene Casting Tour by MTV, etc.), even Myra was unable to avoid all the hype and took part in all of them. Unfortunately she was not able to make it very far and had to face a lot of criticism. At this point of her career, Myra had to deal with many turndowns, which was not very easy for her to take, as she thought casting shows especially, to be a good opportunity for her to get closer to becoming a professional singer. Despite her self-doubts and the consideration to quit making music, she decided to continue working on her solo career.

In the past three years, Myra not only made herself known as a singer, but as a producer and songwriter, as well. She produced and composed tracks for many different artists and bands, among which are, Soweitsogut; DDJz; Soundselectors; Rojah Phad Full; Purkwa; So&So; Caro; Ask Why; AlphaBeat; and many more. She is still producing and composing tracks for other artists and bands up to date.
In 2005, on the 22nd of October the band Meine Allee was born. The band consists of the Not-DJ Mr. Fri., the lyricist Parson, aka Rojah Phad Full, and Myra as the lead singer and producer of the band. With their unmistakable sound and style, which Myra refers to as “New German Urbanâ€, they were able to win the pre-nomination of the Hustle & Flow-Contest in the Cineplex theatre in Bayreuth. During the finals in Berlin, they were able to win the second place.
In 2006 they were nominated “Newcomer-Act 2006†of the region by the Bavarian radio station Bayern 3. In the same year, on December 15th, Meine Allee released their first independent LP Egal wie weit, which was sold out in only one month after its release. As a brilliantly striking end of the year, they were part of the pre-show of the famous German band, Monrose. (For additional information about Meine Allee, please go to: www.meineallee.de)
In spring of 2007, Myra’s independent album Still here appeared, which displays all of her musical diversity from a totally new perspective. She includes elements of Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, R’n’B, Chill Out, or Soul, and once again proves with Still here that she is comfortable in every musical direction. Myra herself is assured that, “Music should be something, which is open to everything and that opens your eyes to new and unfamiliar things. I believe strongly that music is one of these things in life, which is able to cross boarders that seemed insuperable before.â€
In future, there is more to come from Myra; “Eternity itself won’t be long enough to implement all my ideas, visions and dreams.â€
