About Me

I like to think of myself as a very outgoing and creative individual who loves to partake in the finer things in life along with the more simplistic events. I love to spend my leisurely time on the beach or contributing to my novel.
I am married to a man who I am amazed by everyday. Someone who has such compassion, spirit, and charisma. I am one of the luckiest women on this earth to have found a man who not only loves me in words but in actions. Someone who respects, cares for, and is always there for me. It took a long road to get here but every moment was worth it. He is truly the man I am meant to spend the rest of my days (and beyond) with. Someone who we love dearly once described us as "two puzzle pieces - very different but compliment one another perfectly"... enough said :)
Our Wedding Montage - if you let it buffer all of the way - it is much clearer :) ENJOY! We know we did!..
If you knew me back in highschool, well you probably just knew me as a fixture in the theater :) Ya, I was a theater geek...
If you knew me in college (in St. Cloud), I am sure you knew me from the bar...as that was where I spent most of my social life (hey, I went to SCSU...that was part of my "independent study" requirements!!! and to be frank, in my experience there were few mentally intriguing people - well that goes for most of the people I met when I was between 16-22).
If you knew me in a previous life, I was probably much more boring than this time around. We waste so much time on useless people who never appreciate us and then we get to sit by and watch as they benefit from their experiences with US!
And if you want to know me in this life, I am out and about discovering the greater Seattle metro area and very happy with the majority of the places, experiences, and small little discoveries I have uncovered. I have made it my top priority to only surround myself with good energy people...it has proved fruitful!!!
***NOTE: All of the photography on this page is my personal work and I would greatly appreciate if you would not duplicate or use any material without my permission...It is my art people! Don't rob me of something I love! :) ***

My Interests

Passion rules my life....Passion for everything from the most simplistic to the utterly complex.

I love to spend time reading, writing, traveling, and enriching my mind... Photography is a great passion of mine. My life is also filled with my infatuation for reading and writing.

My schedule also affords me the opportunity to explore new endeavors. As of late my new endeavors include ballroom dancing, pottery, wine and really discovering all of the beautiful nuances that are LA. I strive everyday to fulfill my many goals and once I reach one, a new replaces it.

Continually working on my novel is very important to my overall existence. I am also very passionate about my business. Creativity in my life and perfection in my business are two of my prime passions...

I'd like to meet:

I am not particularly looking to meet ANYONE on this. I am looking to network with fellow creative writers, creative photographers and anyone whom I currently know...or formerlly knew. I would love to find some of the great people I knew "back in the day". Who knows, this site is nuts!!!

Unfortunately there are people who partake in this venue and self-promote behavior and attitudes toward women, life, and sexuality with which I greatly disagree.

I would love to find people who find passion in creative arts, expanding their world with self fulfilling experiences and relishing in all of the unappreciated gifts that this world produces everyday.

Mainly though, I am looking for people who are of their word. Most are not. Most seem to be fair weather souls who will venture into and out of your life when it suits THEIR needs, when you fit into their (usually destructive) agendas and are not true kindred spirits in any sense of the word. Life is work people...if you bow out now, what are you left with?

Music:

Music is often my muse and my collection contains everything from classical to Nirvana (my favorite band) to poppy punk to girly soul/folk to heavy metal and everything in between!

Books:

I am currently inspired by Alexs D. Pate, a fantastically talented and emotive writer who moves me. I highly recommend any of his books. He is most well known for Amistad but that is by far one of his least intriguing books. Recommended: "Losing Absalom", "Finding Makeba", "West of Rebooth".
Another author I find greatly inspirational for women is Jennifer Weiner. If you ever want to laugh out loud at each page and feel guilty putting a book down, read "Good In Bed". Absolutely uplifting, emotional novel. Also recommended: "In her Shoes" (read it BEFORE you go see the movie), "Little Earthquakes".
I just finished "Goodnight Nobody"...so off character of her other books but great writing and wonderful humor.
Shannon Olson is another very great author and her writing style is very light which enables the reader to completely become involved in a story without becoming overwhelmed by flowery or over-intellectualized language. Again, hilarious books that make you feel great about your life no matter your situation because of the complexities and neurotic cast of characters in her stories. Greatly recommended: "Welcome to my planet....where English is sometimes spoken", "Children of God Go Bowling".

Ive been tagged (and I liked it *wink*)...

Once you've been 'tagged', you have to write a blog of 10 weird/random facts/habits/goals about yourself. At the end, choose 10 people to be tagged, listing their names and WHY you chose to tag them. ...
