so. i occasionally drag out and dust off a microphone and see what i can do with the songs that i've finished/started since last time i recorded.
however there's a lot of songs that have been hanging around for ever and every so often i'll feel the need to incorporate these ones into these recording sprees i find myself having perhaps, once or twice a year.
found here are bits and bobs from 05, 06 and 07.
equipment-wise i generally use a minimum of gear to track with. namely an old well worn classical without a D string.
i also, for a time, used another classical that found its way to my recordings via my nephew. he incidentally added a touch of organ to the end of seahorse, which i think made that section spring to life somewhat.
also in the mix are a small casio with bass keys that no longer work, a cheap "midi" keyboard, a don't want to stay in tune steel string, a glockenspiel and various little percussive nasties that never cease to amuse.
anyway.
peace yall...hope ya dig.
many thanks to rob curulli for his imaginative contributions to "falling from the north" and "free from remembering".
