DISTANT WARNING
JUNE 2007
This month we have a Duke Special/Special - an exclusive interview with the man himself, access to the press pit gave us some excellent photos, and a gig review of his recent Dublin gig.
Other interviews are with Liverpool band Hot Club de Paris - they aren't a club, they're not from Paris, but they do appear to like sheds.
Also Terry Cullen from Dae Kim tells us how AC/DC were instrumental in him becoming a musician.
There's a gig review of three up and coming Sheffield bands who all played at the Leadmill last week - Gas Club, The Hosts and Reverend and the Makers
Alan Hennessey from Gorbachov sits in the hot seat this month and plays us through his Top Five CD's of the moment.

Distant Warning is an online music ezine which exists to promote up and coming bands. We currently have readers in the UK, Ireland, Mainland Europe, New Zealand and the US. If you would like us to review your cd, gig or interview you, then please don’t hesitate to contact us at
[email protected] . We will listen to everything that comes our way and if we think you have what it takes we will be more than happy to include on the site.
Some of the Distant Warning Team are currently in training to embark on an ascent of Snowdon in June 2007 - to raise money for Leukaemia Research through the most excellent LHS Foundation - www.lovehopestrength.com
At the summit of Snowdon Mike Peters of the Alarm will be playing a short acoustic set. If you wish to sponsor any of the climbers or indeed make a donation to the LHS Foundation, details can be found on the Distant Warning forum.
If you are interested in music and want to join in the discussions you can find us at www.distantwarning.co.uk - you're welcome to give us a whirl.
We now have voicemail! To leave Distant Warning a message, please see below! Look forward to hearing from you.
