I love to write. Writing would be my biggest passion. With that, comes music. Music is a huge part of who I am and always will be. I always say I'd love to put out a soundtrack. So much could come from that. I also like a few athletic things. I love playing baseball, however, I can't stand watching it or any sport for that matter. But a good afternoon could include going to the batting cages. I like bowling, though I know it isn't very athletic. I like billiards. I love swimming. Dancing ... I could probably never really get overweight with the amount of dancing that I do.
I'd like to meet:
I've learned that the ideals I have for someone I'd like to meet always come at a price. I'd like to meet someone genuine. I can sort out the details from there. Understanding is an important quality, and patience, only cause I have so little.
Music:
I've got to have one of the most eclectic tastes in music, which is a very good thing. People have got to be more than one-dimensional. My all time favorite would have to be Alanis Morissette. Nobody gets closer to home than her. I love Britney, and think what you will, but we all have that artist who brings out the fun in us. I've really gotten into The Killers lately as well as a lot of other pop rock groups. Lil Kim - my ghetto girl right there. Definitely brings out the funk in me!! Hip Hop tends to make me a little scrappy at times, so I try to limit my listening times these days. Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple, Toni Braxton, Enrique Iglesias, Garbage - Shirley brings out the fiestyness in me, that one there. Mary J Blige definitely brings out the soul and the lover in me. And really, the list goes on and on. Kelly Clarkson, on and on .... beyonce, danity kane, kelis, oh oh oh ... and snow patrol for sure!
Movies:
I love thrillers. Not necessarily horror movies, but like those too. I mostly like Indie films. I am all about the quality of the acting and the script. What good is a huge budget movie with mediocre elements? Igby Goes Down is my FAVORITE movie!!!
Television:
Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Depserate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters
Books:
Anything that changes my perspective on life. I want to be challenged.
Heroes:
Alanis Morissette. That girl has shown me a better way of living time and time again. And any person who pulls themselves up from nothing. I don't have to like the person or exactly what they do, but still have a lot of respect for them.
