While Everyone Around Me is Busy Drowning, I Float

ATTENTION ALL SHITTY MUSICIANS: I DO NOT WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND!!! DON'T EVEN THINK OF SENDING ME A FRIEND REQUEST BECAUSE I WILL NOT ACCEPT YOU!! I DON'T CARE WHAT KIND OF MUSIC YOU ARE TRYING TO PROMOTE BUT DO IT ON YOUR OWN PAGE NOT MINE!!!It is what it is. Nothing more. Nothing less. I tend to be that person who give 100 percent and gets nothing in return. I'll do anything for a stranger and even more for my friends but sometimes it's hard to figure out who my friends really are.I like to use my knowledge in positive ways and i'm always up for a good debate. People that know me claim that i know everything and even call me the human encyclopedia. My dream is to appear on Jeopardy and prove to the entire world that Alex Trebec is really a robot!At this point in my life i'll go where ever the wind blows me. I love to travel and i've been almost everywhere in the North America ( 45 states, Canada and Mexico). I love road trips and driving down a highway at top speed with all the windows down and the music blasting. It's better to travel with friends though. After a 12 hour ride to Canada by myself, i pretty much refuse to drive anywhere more than 6 hours away alone. In March 2009 i will be going to Europe for the first time. I will be going to Italy (Rome, Venice and Florence)with a pit-stop in Paris, France. I am studying Italian in school and one day i hope to speak fluently in Italian, but that day is far in the future.I love underground hip-hop and music that is relevant to my life. Hip Hop saved my life!I hate TV and video games. I believe they are a waste of valuable time. I'd rather read a book and between me and my mother, every single room in our house is filled to the brim with books and book cases. I guess you can say it's a family thing.I'm the classic pisces lost in a make believe dream world and sometimes i forget about reality. I'm sensitive and my feelings get hurt alot.I also tend to pick up on the emotions of people around me, so it is important for me to be around positive people. I believe in karma and the fact that everything you do comes back around and the people who do bad things will get fucked. at least i hope so.I love tattoos and piercings. I have four tattoos and many holes in my ears, nose and lip. I hope one day the social stigma that surrounds tattoos will disappear and everyone will be accepted for who they are on the inside and not just what appears on the outside. I'm aiming for a full sleeve one day.I love going to school and hopefully within the next year i will be graduating from Middlesex County College and be moving onto Rutgers University. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa and my GPA is amazing. I want to be a sociologist or social worker and help people over come the problems that they face in their day to day living. I get all A's (except for math , I'm not a logical thinker and numbers scare the hell out of me)I am aiming to get my masters degree and even go even further with my schooling until i can't get anymore degrees! If Middlesex would allow it, i would be graduating with 4 associates degrees. I've completed all the core classes for a social science,a history, a psychology and a sociology degree!I've worked in the food industry almost all my life. I've done everything from waitressing and hostessing to making pizzas! Right now i work for Panera Bread and i like it. It's actually all natural food with no additives and nothing is fried or extremely unhealthy. Everything is baked fresh every single morning and at the end of the day, the Panera Bread company donates all left over products to local food pantries and soup kitchens which i love.I've done a lot of volunteer work. I grew up around the non-profit world and been around less fortunate people since i was 5. I've worked with AIDS patients, the homeless and the hungry. I've traveled to Tijuana, Mexico with a group of people, built houses and worked at an orphanage where children would stay where their parents would travel to America to work for most of the year. I've done work on a Cherokee Indian reservation in North Carolina, and traveled to Birmingham, Alabama to work with Habitat for Humanity. I've also volunteered in Rockford, Illinois (3 hours outside of Chicago and traffic is worse there than any Jersey highway!)in a community plagued with unemployment, hunger and homelessness and helped to organize a community outreach center. I've started a clothing donation program at a weekly soup kitchen in Elizabeth, NJ when i was 14 and i still try to go back as often as i can!I just want to be happy and if being happy means living in a cardboard box i'll do it. I struggle with depression caused by bi-polar disorder, which runs in my family. Some days are good, some days are bad, but i try my best make it through the day I try not to let material items and money get in the way of my true purpose in life (which i still haven't figured out yet).
