I'm 20, I go to University in St Andrews, Scotland. I did a gap yeah in YUMA!!! woooooo hooo Go CRIMS!!!!!! I Love to Party and have fun!!! I have awesome friends who i love to bits. I love to travel all over the world, love to go to new fun places, meet new people and learn new things. I'm majoring in Economics (hard core stuff I'll have you know!!) I love sports, specially golf, field hockey, football (soccer to americans), rugby, and any fun things. Love life and living it!There are many steps I have taken over the past few years to develop my learning and myself as an individual. In 2003 I took a Gap Year following the completion of my higher examinations. I decided to develop myself by living with an American family in Yuma, Arizona and attend high school. While attending I took classes in Journalism, Spanish, American History, Sociology and Marketing. As part of my marketing class I became a member of the DECA club. This is an association of marketing students who compete in many state wide and national competitions. This helped develop my marketing skills, public speaking and team working skills. I attended the National Conference in Nashville where our team took 2nd place in the Stock Market Challenge. My gap year turned out to be an amazing experience that has equipped me with skills and knowledge that I continue to use today. Through the Global Investment Group society in St Andrews I have become part of a team which leads weekly seminars. Here we present on various financial vehicles and on stocks. In the last 6 months I have presented an overview of Russian oil companies, stock presentations on Smith and Nephew and Firstgroup, and a presentation on Real Estate. This has not only enhanced my knowledge of each area significantly, but also greatly improved my public speaking and confidence.
