I have some. I'm thinking music, film (although some people would point out the shockingly low number of 'classic' films I have seen), books and stuff like that really.
For a coffee next Thursday.
Oh, people I'd like to meet, sorry, in that case I'll go for my friends, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Finn, Martin Sheen, Stephen Merchant.*
*Please note this list was created at one moment in time (when listening to Bruce Springsteen then Crowded House on Itunes, and pondering watching an episode of the West Wing or maybe even Extras) and is liable to change at the page owner's discretion without prior warning.
I love the stuff. Can't get enough of it. You want names? Then how about I list a random sample of artists I like?
Crowded House, Jenny Lewis, James, Beth Orton, McAlmont and Butler, Amy Winehouse, The Feeling, The Fratellis, Dusty Springfield, Fleetwood Mac, Prince, Damien Rice, Ben Folds, Ben Folds Five, Lily Allen, The Doobie Brothers, The Chi Lites, The Isley Brothers, Doves, Paul Weller, The Jam (I just wrote the Ham, who I don't think actually exist), and so on.Maybe I'll add to that list one day.
So there are a lot I have not seen, but there are also a lot I have and love.
Especially, The Wicker Man (I don't need to say which version I mean!), The Commitments, and True Romance.Ones I like but not quite as much, Grosse Pointe Blank, Memento, Crash, The Garden State.
Mainly comedy and US drama.
I'm thinking Extras, Phoenix Nights, The Office, Max and Paddy, Only Fools, Fawlty Towers for the first and The West Wing, Twin Peaks, Sopranos, and Six Feet Under for the second.
So so many. My favourite ever novels are To Kill A Mockingbird and Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha.
I have recently read Plain Truth, 1984, Holes, and Spies. I am currently reading The Time Travelers Wife.
Not sure really. My dad would be up there. Martin Sheen is cool. Someone political, historical, or life changing, I'm sure there is, but cannot say who just now.
