Since 2005, Sofia and Divo as Switch have charmed and alarmed audiences throughout Australia and the world with their own twisted take on physical theatre. Switch recently relocated to London in search of new platforms to present their work. The professionally trained performers merge elements of acrobalance, dance and character-play to entertain and challenge audiences with shows that thrust together gender, sexuality, power and role-play. Switch has developed a strong cult audience for their trade-mark final-twists which are dynamic and political, aiming to diversify images of dyke sexuality on stage. Switch reference diverse contemporary elements such as drag king, strip/neo burlesque, contemporary dance, circus and western sex radical performance.Performance highlights includes: Brisbane Pride, Melbourne Fringe, The International Circus Festival, Feast Festival (Adelaide Pride), Hellfire Club (Sydney), Duckies, Club Wotever, Soho Review Bar (London), King Vic (Melbourne), De Pepper (Amsterdam).Recently the duo created their first theatre show: 'Switch Bits' which is a longer version of their several short acts performed.
