Sports and Books. It's always been that way. Mom read to me when I was in the womb, and didn't stop until I could read on my own. The minute I had any type of co-ordination I was playing sports. Dad made sure I always played hard, and played smart, and Mom always had a kind word for me, no matter how well I played.
My old friends again, just to stay in touch. I'd love to make new friends who have the same interests as me, but it is always refreshing to meet those who think differently than I do, just to get a look at that side of the spectrum, so I am into meeting just about anybody.
Put it on, and I'll listen. It's country and classic rock if you're in my car though, and maybe some pop to appease the masses.
Boondock Saints, Breakfast Club, Pulp Fiction, The Tremors 4 Pack, All 3 Major Leagues and Back to the Futures. Closer, Rules of Attraction and American Psycho.
It's good to be in a house with cable, again, although I have learned I am much more productive when I don't have it. No TV = more reading and writing.
So far this year I have plowed through 24 books. I'm well on my way to beating the 43 I read last year.
My mom. She raised me better than any human being could have done, and kept me out of jail, away from drugs, and out of the mental institute. I was a terrible kid, but my mom stuck with me, showed me nothing but love, and if not for her, I'm not here today.
