Biography:MUDDY ROAD is a Red Dirt band that reins from northeast Oklahoma and was formed in October of 2006. Playing Bass and singing back up for the band is Justin Brock. Justin has been playing the Bass for the past year, but has played rhythm guitar and sang in several country bands for the past 15 years. He brings his country music influences to the band with artists styles that range from George Strait to Chris LeDoux. Playing lead guitar and singing back up vocals for MUDDY ROAD is Gary Allen. Gary has been playing guitar for 20 years and has played lead guitar for 3 different rock bands. Gary brings to the band his influences of classic country like Hank Jr. and Charlie Daniels, to hard hitting rock bands such as Metallica, Motley Crue, and Tool. Playing rhythm guitar and lead vocals for the band is Mark Nichols. Mark has been playing and writing for 10 years. He has played in one previous band. He brings the influences of Steve Earle, Waylon, Merle, Mike Mclure, Ragweed, AC/DC and Metallica. Playing drums for the band is Punk King. Punk has played drums for 30 years and has played in 5 different rock bands. He brings the influences of 70, 80, & 90s rock bands. Running the sound and controlling the lighting for MUDDY ROAD is Kenton Shotpouch. Kenton has had his own D.J. business for the past 12 years and brings his well known skills of sound mixing to the band.All these different musical influences have combined to create the sound of MUDDY ROAD. They are a true Red Dirt band and a crowd pleaser where ever they go. They are well known in their local area, playing places such as The Rock’ in Armadillo on Monkey Island, the Dripping Springs Yacht Club on Grand Lake, to the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami Oklahoma, Kitchen Pass in Joplin and Roxies Roost in Tahlequah. MUDDY ROAD is a true example of different types of music styles that have come together to create one unique Oklahoma Red Dirt sound. MUDDY ROAD!
