Well.. here we go!! Been meaning to change this part of my profile for a while now.. and finally I have! bring on some more personal reflections! Wooohoo…*drum roll please*
I am no longer the ultimate in contradictions, im open-minded but not fickle. I love learning new things about my self and about the world. I love new avenues of thought as they all lead me to the same conclusion – how wonderful God is.
I enjoy new insights. I think about everything. I have the most hectic brain with about 10 different thought processes going on at once. This is truly a blessing as I learn so much about how awesome our creator is, which humbles me.
Sometimes im the most confident person in the world and then another day im reserved and thoughtful. I enjoy being both; talking lots and lots without reflection is meaningless. I still need to listen more; but I’m getting better!
I am very strong willed, perhaps I do rely on innate intelligence a lot of the time but I now know what a gift this is! I think ive made the most of the opportunities ive been given in life. I take pride in my education, my job and professionalism – these things actually matter to me.
I am complete, thanks to the grace of God. I don’t seek someone to complete me anymore or to be someone to depend on or receive comfort from. Love isn’t really any of those things. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Genuine Love is a decision to act a certain way regardless of how you feel.
To be a beautiful person starts with a beautiful spirit. When I look in the mirror? What do I see – should I see an image which is lacking? Missing what the world tells a girl she needs? It is sometimes so hard to feel “beautiful” in a world where we are bombarded with images of what “beauty” is. THIS IS SOOOO WRONG. Beauty is more subtle than something contrived. To quote the lovely kooks...
