I'm a 20 year old singer/songwriter/poet/fashion designer & soon to be musician...From the age of about 10 I've been designing womens' wear, customising, writing songs and poetry and I've been learning the keys and music theory for over a year now. For a few years I've been dedicated to working on my craft by going to open-mic nights, free-stlying sessions, recording studios, auditions and singing workshops/lessons...
...Stylistically...I'm influenced mostly by: Soul, Neo-soul, R 'n' B, Blues, Funk, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Alternative, Jazz, Soulful House, Indie, although I'll listen to anything really...My music is a fusion, so you'll never hear me sing a song and be able to classify it under only one genre, whether it be the vocal twang, chord progressions, subject matter or song structure...
...Lyrically...I'd describe my songs as a poetic conversation, declaration, speech, story discussing contemporary issues with abstract, unpredictable lyrical and vocal arrangements *(none of that typical: "I love you baby, I want you baby, You drive me crazy")*...
