PLAYING THE GUITAR! (alone and in bands), reading, writing about and listening to music, going to musicconcerts, collecting old records, fooling around... Started playing when I was a kid, put the guitar down a few years and picked it up again 4 years ago, when I became interested in blues (ironically enough I then remembered the first thing I had learned was a twelve-bar shuffle). After going through all the delta stuff, slide guitar etc... discovered rockabilly! (VERY oversimplified) Now I play in a rockabilly band called 'The Chicken Pickers', and plan on keeping ROMPIN' & STOMPIN' / BOPPIN' & HOPPIN' / BIPPIN' & FLIPPIN' / MOOVIN' & GROOVIN' / JUMPIN' & JIVIN' / RAKIN' & SCRAPIN' / JUMPIN' & JIVIN' / SHAKIN' & BREAKIN' / ROCKIN' & ROLLIN' & REELIN' WITH THE FEELING !!!
