About Me

One day she sez to me, "Best get to steppin'! You is old already!" And I sez, "You best mind yo' tung!" But she is right, so's I started playin' out. First is that the porch is old, and most no one come 'round to see us becuz the house is way back in the field, and we lets the veggies grow high. That was then I decided to start playin' at them bars...I gots my friends to be with me on the stage. (Old man thinks it nice to drink and sing songs with his friends) We done play and drink 'till our livers got sore. So now we would like to play at them bars and also outdoors at some festivals and all. "Pretty soon," she sez, "You is gonna go back to the record room and put some songs on the cd." I sez, "Best not to say you wrong," as she is the one that cooks me supper. When those songs is on the cd there will be a party and then some travelin'...Gonna be good times...

Influences: If you is not old, then you do not know that when you is old, you start thinkin' about yo'self a lot and so I like to write songs about me. I writes them about the aminals on my farm, and about one time I went treasure huntin' in them jungles and had to fight a monkey, and when I get sad I drink lots...My wife don't like me becuz she knows I love the guitar mo' than her. When she sass me, I'll go and make a song about somethin' else to ease my mind which is real good, but sometimes this don't work. There is badness worse than my crazy woman in this world, and sometimes I writes songs about them kind of things. Like there is an Egg Sniffer who can't stop scavengin' and sneakin' and a man once burned a lil' girl with a ciggirette and buys teeth and his name is Stanley Jean. I gots songs about them things to let people know what villains they gotta watch out for...Suppose what I say is that I make lil' stories about my life with friend Guitar becuz when you old you gots lots to say about many things, and you start thinkin' that if you don't start talkin' soon you gonna die...
