Lukas and Martin had played together in different bands since they were around fifteen years old. When they moved to Malmö and met Johan the three of them formed the Booze Brothers. The idea was to get gigs right away. With an old demo from a band that Lukas and Martin has played with before they booked a few gigs and when the first gigs were booked the band got together to reherse.Altogether the Booze Brothers played close to twohundred gigs. Most of the songs were covers that the band changed around totally - sometimes even beyond recognition, but every now and then they wrote an original.The band tried to grow out of being a coverband but a namechange to Presence and a fourth member in Rickard Andersson did not help. Eventually the band split up and Booze Brothers was history.
