Lance “Pee Wee†Arnold is more than just an innovative, talented producer; he is a musician, a passionate basketball player, provider, and above all a devoted father and husband. Growing up on the Chicago’s Southside, Pee Wee dedicated the majority of his time and energy into two things, playing basketball and music. From little on Lance has always had an ear for music. It all stemmed from his playing drums at his father, Bishop Lannie Arnold Sr.’s, church, and as time went on this crafty musician also acquired skills in playing both the keyboard and organ. It wasn’t long when PeeWee began portraying his talent by playing these instruments for the church congregation. Pee Wee found himself continuing to make music for countless hours after the church service had ended.
PeeWee later moved to Detroit, MI, where he attended Brother Rice High School and excelled in basketball starting on the varsity team as a freshman. Although a committed basketball player Pee Wee never lost site of his passion for music. With the help of his “Momma Brendaâ€, they soon came to find a new to church to participate in. This gave Pee Wee another opportunity express his musical genius while professing his love of the Lord. He was back “On the Right Trackâ€, playing for praise and worship group and the choir with Pastor Emma Simms. Pee Wee continued both his education and basketball career at University Wisconsin Marinette. He began majoring in education and than later changed to criminal law. It was in Marinette where Lance had the pleasure of meeting his wife Rebecca, and it was there where they began their life together. They have two beautiful daughters whom are the love of his life. The family than moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin together and it was than Pee Wee had the opportunity to begin to build his own studio.
In 2000, PeeWee’s father surprised him with a new keyboard to help him on his way to stardom. Piece by piece he began to build his production studio, which is now called “On the Right Track Productionsâ€. It was in Green Bay where Pee Wee ran into an old basketball rival who soon became his best friend and peer in the music business, DeVante. Together this Dynamic duo has produced some off the hook hits such as “Confessionsâ€, “Let’s Stay Togetherâ€, and “N-Credibleâ€, with DeVante on vocals and Pee Wee laying the tracks. He has also collaborated with artists such as Kelize, who debuted with the track “Give Them What They Want†and produced some hard-hitting tracks with DJ Reg of Wild 99.7, also with Studio Electric.
