Pastor Phyllis

Born in Chicago, IL the gospel music Mecca of the world, Pastor Phyllis Arnold developed a passion and desire to sing at the tender age of seven. As a teenager she displayed her musical skills performing at several talent shows. As a young woman Pastor Arnold had a born again experience which would only be the beginning of her expressing and portraying her love for God through the musical gift of singing.Pastor Arnold has experienced many challenges, pain and afflictions in her life. And it is those trying times, that helped to cultivate a communion & fellowship with God that lead to a powerful & intimate worship that can be felt by all who hear the sound of her melodious voice.Proverbs 118:16 states “ A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.” Her gift has ushered her to sing in the presence of many dynamic and anointed Gospel icons such as Dr. Mildred Harris, Prophetess Juanita Bynum, and Apostle Richard D. Henton. She has traveled this nation provoking worship experiences in several cities such as Atlanta, Georgia, Kansas City, Kansas and Mobile, Alabama to name a few.Pastor Arnold is also known in the secular music world, she has dazzled cheering fans, annually for several years for The Chicago White Sox at Comiskey/US Cellular Park. Pastor Arnold by popular demand was chosen to sing the national anthem after the tragedy of 911 in 2001 to a crowd of over 40,000. She received recognition on several televisions stations for that heart-felt and highly anointed performance. She has performed also for former President of the Cook County Board of Commissioners, John Stroger, for the legendary blues singer Koko Taylor, president of Operation/Rainbow Push Reverend Jessie Jackson and The Chicago Fire Soccer Team. She has ministered as a psalmist and awesome preacher at various Correctional Centers, both men and women.This multi-gifted woman of God is also the Pastor of New Life Ministry. Pastor Arnold is continually walking toward her appointed destiny. The Holy Spirit has unctioned her to do her first and upcoming CD Project entitled “Finally”. This gift to the world is for “Such A Time As This”.
