About Me

Hello all. Im an actor called Carl who lives in Chiswick in London... Welcome to my space! I have a lovely life. I spend a bit too much money and sometimes pay bills late and sometimes get very messy on nights out, but I always enjoy myself and will always be able to look back and I say 'Wow, I rarely said No, but NEVER regretted'. I have been to some amazing places, had some amazing experiences and met some amazing folk, a few of which you may here see below... I Thankyou for dropping by. Please leave a message, and please feed my Llama, ('Darlin') x

My Interests

Me, smoking in Central Park... Dagenham. THIS IS ME BEING ARTY IN THE THEATRE.... (photo taken by Logan @ www.loganriehl.com) I think Im very lucky.. This is because I am a musical theatre person , who happens to love musical theatre! My job is my absolute passion and I make, and will never make any apologies for that! Having said that, I have a lot of other wonderful things in my life, the first and most important of which are my fabulous, unique friends. When, like me, you have lived most of your life being seen as a little odd (or HUGELY odd), then the most wonderful thing that you can ever find is a group of people who love and support you, no matter how loud, strange or messy you get. I love it when me and Andrew sing songs together in harmonies that come from nowhere, and when we repeat the same phrases back to each other and laugh for hours. I love it when me and Wayne sit in the kitchen and he gets me to sing songs that are too high and invent tap dances. I love spending rare, different days with Mathew that turn into nights where we drink too much and get on night buses. I like it when Tamsin rings me to talk about herself because I know her huge heart found room to fit me in. I like it when Lynne gets drunk and when me and Lisa are the only ones who are doing shots. I love it when Caroline O Hara says to me 'lets have a cigarette'. I like seeing Alexis and Callum and Pip and Emma and Haley because its ALWAYS been too long. I love it when me and Charlie remember being on that car park in Milton Keynes. I like standing up in front of all my friends and being loud and bossy and I love them because even though they want to tell me to sit down and be quiet they let me do it because they know it makes me happy. I love sitting on Turnham Green Park with Lucy and talking about everything and nothing for 4 hours. I love having Zinnys with Jonathan even when we couldnt afford them. I love muting Chris Tarrant on 'Who wants to be a millionaire' because he's a love rat. I like white wine and I like menthol slims. I like seeing shows for free. I like the 2nd day of rehearsals, not the 1st. I like having a pound on pub-quiz machines as long as I can press the buttons. I love the fact that my favourite meal is chips and baked beans. I love having a nice time... CHICAGO The story goes on...SAUCY JACK and THE SPACE VIXENS December 2005Mary Sunshine A little bit of good...

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who loves life, and loves a large white wine.

Music:

MUSICALS. Old, new, classic, contemporary. The way a writer can combine a story-telling lyric with a soaring, stirring tune still astounds me every day.- sorry how predictable!- but also (in the real world) Amy Winehouse is absolutely my new favourite artiste., I belive Xtina is one of our greatest current 'performers' in the pop field. Seeing Beyonce performing 'Listen' at the Oscars has since made me think she truly is phenomenal, and bald or not you cant take it away from Britney! No matter how camp it sounds- THE SPICE GIRLS did change the world, and I am still an enormous fan. Also, there is absolutely nothing wrong with 'Not such an Innocent girl' by V.Beckham, or 'Look at Me' by G.Halliwell. Classics, both. I love old jazz standards, big band swing and,randomly- Skunk Anansie! Here is Andrew's debut album, START OF THE ROAD Track 11 is the best.... (Its a duet with me...)

Movies:

Luc Besson's 'The Fifth Element' is probably my all time favourite. Im obsessed with any film where people have 'powers', so the 3 Xmen films are high on my list, but other significant movies are.... The Hours, Stepmom, Beaches, Showgirls, HeMan and SheRa: The Secret of the Sword, Flight of Dragons, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Madonna as Evita, Little Shop of Horrors, In Bed with Madonna, Rita Sue and Bob Too, The Sound of Music, Mean Girls, Strictly Ballroom, Sister Act 1 and 2, Muppets in Manhatten, Hello Dolly!, and all the old MGM movie-musical classics. What could be better on a rainy Sunday afternoon?

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, 24, Sex and the City, Strictly Come Dancing, The Crystal Maze, Hi de Hi!, Countdown, Deal or no Deal, any cookery programs, any quiz programs and I also have a sick fascination with QVC.This is my favourite televison program of ALL TIME.... Watch her... She is POWERFUL She-Ra Intro
