Deep in the dark woods, among ruins and trees as old as the earth itself, two seperate lights arose. Each a carrier of the ancient torch and a bearer of dreams to create music beyond the shackles of our own time...
Waldaskógar was formed in August 2006, by Dimmadis and Minnurd. Dimmadis living in Gothenburg and Minnurd in Lerum, Sweden. Both sharing a love for nature, music and ancient times.
Influenced by music such as Summoning, Burzum, Mortiis, northern folk music and medieval tunes of Europe. Lyrically dealing with another world beyond this ignorant human society we unfortunately are parts of.
A few recordings have been done up until this day. Yet no official release has been produced, but those who wait shall be enlightened.
