About Me

I'm a substitute teacher and barista living with 3 fantastic ladies in a colorful house outside of Philly. I really feel that I am where I am supposed to be and I am astounded each day they way God can turn my silly whims into blessings I'd never imagined. My family is the most valuable part of my life. By family, I also mean the friends that are as much a part of me as family. If we're friends, we are going to hug and maybe even cuddle. No flimsy hugs either, i hate those. The little things in life make me the happiest. Spontaneous fun is my favorite kind. At least once a day I like to dance to a song that i love; it keeps me from feeling old and jaded. I can be very grumpy and moody but at the end of the day i love life. it's painful and it'll break your heart, but God gives us what we need: beauty, love, laughter, hope, and magic. yes, i believe in magic.

i like most movies. i'm always interested in something different from the norm such as memento or eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, but i also like to watch my favorites over and over again, such as: Princess Bride, Where the Heart is, A Day without a Mexican, beauty and the beast, Office Space, and a million others.

Television:

i love television for the same reason that other people put it down - because it is novocaine for the mind. some favs: LOST, Grey's Anatomy, The Office... the best show of all time is, of course, Freaks and Geeks.

Books:

"For one who reads, there is no limit to the number of lives that may be lived." I have always loved reading and have too many favorites to list them all. Madeleine L'Engle is probably my favorite author because I have read so many of her books over and over again. The Witch of Blackbird Pond, Christy, Pride and Prejudice, The Little Prince, Catcher in the Rye, Harry Potter....oh my too many.
