..
About Me I just moved back to Sunny California
after spending the longest winter of my life
up in Rock Springs (aka Rock Bottom), Wyoming.
It's great to be back home.
I love the beach and my family
So I plan on spending a lot of time with both from now on.
Especially since I just moved to a place right off
Main Street in Huntington Beach YAY!
I'm really a good girl, with a darker side...
I'm a down to Earth girl with a good heart and mind,
who is truly anti-drama, so don't bring it!
Props to HEINEKEN for keeping me crazy
and to MARLBORO for killing me softly.

"If your life flashes before your eyes when you die,
I want my movie to be a BLOCKBUSTER!" ~Me

My faves are punk, rock, and whatever else fits my mood at the moment. I hate rap and don't really care for most country music. My favorite bands at the moment (in no particular order) are Atreyu, Flyleaf, Evanescence, Bullet for my Valentine, Fuel, Deftones, Hellyeah, Puddle of Mudd, Daughtry, Hinder, Trivium, Breaking Benjamin, Jimmy Eat World, Three Days Grace, Rise Against, Avril Lavigne, Bad Religion, Street Dogs, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Pennywise, Turbonegro, Smut Peddlers, Bouncing Souls, System of a Down, Social Distortion, My Chemical Romance, 30 Seconds to Mars, Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Slightly Stoopid, Rancid, Jack Johnson, Seether, Stone Sour, Disturbed, Cold, Korn, Onesidezero, Sick Puppies, Incubus, Blink, Dredge, The Killers, Johnny Cash, No Doubt, Sublime, Nirvana, Bush, old Offspring, Green Day, Mazzy Star, Frank Sinatra, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Ramones, Massive Attack, Tool, Primus, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, old Metallica, Metric, Rage Against the Machine, Radiohead, The Cure, Portishead, Dead Kennedys, NOFX, MXPX, Operation Ivy, Misfits, Tim Armstrong, The Cramps, The Stitches, The Briggs, U.S. Bombs, U.K. Subs, Die Hunns, HorrorPops, The Unseen, Minor Threat, Blondie, Anti-Flag, Depeche Mode, Pearl Jam, Garbage, Bjork...the list could go on forever. I also like some classical once in a while. I just got a record player, so I'm expanding my vinyl collection.
The Distillers still rock my socks off! Movies I like a lot of different movies. Hackers, Original Sin, Beyond Borders, Alexander & GIA- 'cause Angelina Jolie is SO HOT! Troy, Seven, Legends of the Fall, Interview with a Vampire- 'cause Brad can now be my husband- your loss Jenn! LOL. Riding in Cars w/ Boys, Mad Love- cause if I was a lesbian, I would stalk Drew. Phonebooth, SWAT, Daredevil- cause Collin Farrell is hottest man alive(though I would never touch him- cause I would probably catch something from his dirty ass!) I also love documentaries and historical movies. I recommend Zeitgeist, Money Masters, The Corporation, and Loose Change. Also: What the Bleep Do We Know?, An Elegant Universe , The Beach, Donnie Darko, In Gods Hands, V for Vendetta, Memoirs of a Geisha, Pride and Prejudice, The Island, Stay, Clerks, Chasing Amy, Trainspotting, SLC Punk, Sid & Nancy, Moulin Rouge, GO, Pirates of the Carribean, Marie Antoinette, Good Will Hunting, Betty Page!, Silent Hill, From Hell, Office Space, American Beauty, Legally Blonde, Legend, The Last Unicorn, The Rats of Nymph, Alice in Wonderland, Empire Records, Dazed & Confused, GIDGET, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Cry-Baby, Dogma, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Basketball Diaries, Fight Club, The Craft, The Ring, Thirteen, Resident Evil, Across The Universe, anything by Rob Zombie, Gone In 60 Seconds, Blood Diamond, The Constant Gardener, The Simpsons, Shawn of the Dead, and many more. I love a good horror flick and anything with vampires or zombies! Television I prefer to watch great movies. I have commitment issues. I have a hard time committing to watch a show at the same time every week. =) Books I am fairly addicted to the written word.
My Favorite Books:
The Bible of course. Old classics and new witty romantic comedies. The Devil Wears Prada, Something Borrowed, White Oleander and Paint It Black by Janet Fitch, The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillipa Gregory, The Delivery Man by Joe McGinniss Jr., anything Jane Austen, Bet Me, Vanity Fair, Alice, A Diary, Madame Bovary, Bride Most Begrudging, anything by Jennifer Crusie or Candace Bushnell,Lilly of the Valley, used to love the V.C. Andrews novels (I think I've read all of them), and way too many others to list.
Some other books I recommend:
Bush at War by Bob Woodward (or anything else he's written), None Dare Call It Conspiracy, 1984 by George Orwell, Angels Don't Play This HAARP , Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, People's History of the United States, Rule by Secrecy, The Prince, The Art of War , Mein Kampf, anything by Frederic Neitze, Noam Chomsky (click for archive) , Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, and more...
I also read about an hour or so of news nightly, starting with The Drudge Report , then moving to the Washington Post, BBC, CNN, LA Times, White House press and news releases, current Senate legislation, etc. Hey, it beats watching mindnumbing "reality" TV!!! Heroes Myself- for getting from day to day in this crazy ass life and managing to make it to the next. Goofy- for never taking himself too seriously.
