I am....
... Lars Marius Thomsen, 28 years. Born and raised in Copenhagen.
... songwriter, komponist, producer.
My story so far....
Since I was handed a giutar at the age of 16, I have written melodies.
The melodies developed into songs - songs that I've preformed with my friend Martin Juhl.
We made the band "Shalom" and toured with rap/singing and dancing in Easten European countries as; Slovakia, Polen and so on. We performed on the streets, nursing homes, prisons - where ever we could!
Around a year later, a third party (Jens Jacob) joined us. That is when we changes oue band name to "Believe".
I keept on developing my skills in writing song, and playing the guitar. Mostly because we played round Copenhagen, at the pubs and all kinds of gigs all over Denmark.
We made a Demo-tape, trying to get a recorddeal. But we where to young, and it al got a little "half-hearted". So it didn't came to any succes. - But THAT easy I wouldn't give in! So when the opportunity, to get a recorddeal throu the show "Popstars" (Zulu 2003)came, I grabed it!
2003 became a very exciting year. All throu the show "Popstars" we indures alot of extremely hard trials. I was challenged to the tip of my fingers. I found aspects of my talts that I din't knew I had!
After 3 months of intensive strougle, I WON! And with 4 other guys(Martin Bunk, Patrick, Theis and Tarik) we formed the band fu:el.
We made a record full of hits!(If you don't believe me, go get the record!) Written by some of the best producers in Denmark ( Lucas Secon og Mint Man, Rune Westberg o.m.fl..). And I even got one of my own songs on the album aswell! (The Light - Listen to the song, right here on the page! -)
fu:el appeared ALL over Denmark - the large festivals, shopping malls and so on. We even whent on an acustic tour. Just the 5 of us and a guitar! An awsome experience!
But like many other things, it didn't last. Due to alot of things.
Thou it was a rough time afterwards, I will never stop! I can't run from what I was ment to do! I've been writing songs, and producing music ever since. And just started performing with my acoustic band "Play It" (check www.playitband.dk)

Where I wanna go musicvise...
A lot of Gavin DeGraw/John Mayer and a little Kelly Clarkson/Justin Timberlake. But I wanna keep the song in focus, and I want my lyrics to personal! - To create something unique!
