"Take Me Home" Music Video
Ever since its formation in September of 2004, Arisen has been pushing musical boundaries all throughout the Cleveland area. Founding members Joe Capka, Dan Fink, Ryan Horvath and Matt Kerschner began the band in their freshman year of high school, creating a powerful mix of progressive and hard rock. The addition of female vocalist Jaime Furda in August of 2006 elevated the band to new heights. The combination of her brilliant vocals combined with the in-your-face riffs and mystical keyboards, creates a unique blend of music that is appealing to everyone.
Though these teenagers are not even 17 years old yet, they have definitely made a mark in the local scene. They have played at many Cleveland venues, including the late Odeon Concert Club, Peabody's Down Under, the Phantasy Nite club, and others. They have also headlined at the popular Shadow Woodstocks, annual charity events designed to raise money for those afflicted with mitochondrial disorders. However, their greatest accomplishment has been placing in the top 18 bands of the High School Rock Off three years in a row. They have released two CD's, both recorded professionally at MetroSync Studios. Their newest recording, entitled "Sea of Silence," is truly an excellent representation of the mature sound the band has honed over the past three years.
