Music:

Euro Dance mostly I like Bubblegum -DJ Marski, Hit'n'hide, dimestars, tiggy, anything new, fun and cheerful. Aqua is another one. Lucinda Williams. Di-fm's Euro Dance streaming channel is on a lot. Well done hip hop and rap is fine T.I. Fat Joe, etc and the occasional reference to 80's New Wave New Order etc is OK too

Movies:

Sometimes. Star Wars, The Gods Must Be Crazy. I liked Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings. The Cohen Brothers. James Bond.

Television:

Off is good. The West Wing, Sex in the City, Will and Grace, and Star Trek the Next Generation. Miami Vice / Nash Bridges Oprah Winfrey Dr. Who. The Rockford Files.

Books:

Lots of chick-lit lately- it's fun and escapist and provides some perspective (jaded perhaps) into those interesting people we as men live with. I get bogged down though in fashion jargon. A Total Waste of Makeup was fun. Toby Devens. Randy Wayne White. Carl Hiassen. Pam Houston. Jimmy Buffet. Peter Mayle. Sara James. Evelyn Waugh. South Wind.

Heroes:

William F Buckley Jr.(as a sailor/writer/adventurer not for his politics), Don Street (famous sailor/writer), My Mom + Dad. Samuel Elliott Morrison (Historian). Winston Churchill. Al Gore. Bill Clinton. My In-Laws are great as well - ruins the stereotype completely.
