About Me

Profile Edited by Layout Nation! MySpace Editor"It all began in August of 2005 when they (my classmates) asked me what about if you were in a band and which would be the name... i just said: would be so fucking great if i could barely play my guitar! we all laugh about that, they asked me about the name, and i just couldn't imagine any other name more stupid than this one... so i said. the johnnys!" - John P. McNab.From that moment... 2 classmates would be include to the band, Javier Campos and Valeria R., with Javier as drummer, john as bass player, and valeria as lead guitar, they all would sing. they started by writing a few songs that wouldn't see the low light of being on rehearsal neither, except for one. Later, on January 13th 2006 for the first time in their short band's lifetime, their first rehearsal was completed, a bunch of vocal demo with karaoke and a demo of their first song wroten by them: La Balada del cojo pablo; went all ok including with the early depart of valeria, quickly they call near friend and closes to their rehearsal studio (Javier's home), Andres Hurtado was added as drummer & vocalist, but didn't last long, he stood all along the recording of their first album, supporting on everything he could. By the end of January, was added 2 new band members: El Burro as bass player and lead guitar on some songs, and Cristobal Toro as drummer. the final mixing made in February 2nd of that year would be the last time Los Johnnys would record with Burro And Cristobal since they departed because of inner problem unexplained to the outside world, from that moment it wasn't sure the future for the band.Tales From La Batizorra was published and mastered under their own label, called as Callampa Seca Records. Cause of it lack of melody and poorly mixed, what it didn't had in Music, it had it on Comedy. From it circle of friends would become number 1 underground hit, selling according to them the number of 50 copies along 6 months.Right after the recording of "Tales..." Javier discovered a way to record songs in a better quality way, so he gave john a call to run over his home to record anything. the first thing was their theme song, an early take of Los Johnnys Atacan!, it gave them hope to follow their next step, do several underground hits with remarkable advanced on technics for recording, that's how it's started their next proyect, without the help of nobody else but they two no more.During the 2006, the sessions where separeted in two: for recording seriously, and to record things that only them would hear and show to friends, this songs where named as Rare songs literally by them. The july sessions, they record several songs... including big hit: Soy Flaite (Reggeaton) song that make fun of Reggeaton bands and the reggeaton itself, calling as thrash it is and insulting the people who listen this as if they where listening The Beatles in their music players. As the sessions went on, they decide to have a band pet, that would be "The Grandmother" an old lady whom cause by it's insanity, she screw everything up, a true copy of the beverlyhill billies.Their Next proyect: "Destrucción Por Inercia" it's hope to come out by the end of March. ¡Atrapado!
