Most Americans reject outright any comparison of post 9/11 America with the fascism and totalitarianism of Nazi Germany or Pinochet’s Chile. Sadly, the parallels and similarities, between those societies and America today, are all too compelling.â€The reason congressmen try so hard to get re-elected is that they would hate to have to make a living under the laws they've passed.
