January 2006, Cincinnati Ohio. Greg and Jim decide to start a band after their previous band Chalk breaks up. Many months of work pass. Jim remembers seeing Aidan sing with a band called The Reaction and thinks he would be perfect. Jim approaches Aidan, gives him the low down. "It will be great, people will dance, high energy." Yeah, it's always going to be great. Every band wants people to dance. Whatever.
A few months later Jim and Greg run into Erin who they knew from The Fairmount Girls. She just got back from San Francisco and is looking to join a band. They give her the run down. "It's going to be great, people will dance, high energy." Blah blah blah, yap yap yap, same old...
January 2007. One night after practice at The Gypsy Hut.
Greg and Erin
Greg- "...you know, we could do really well. People love Duran Duran.
Erin- "We sound nothing like Duran Duran Greg. What's wrong with you. I mean, I think we're good but we sound nothing like them.
Greg- "Don't ever say that again."
Erin- "We don't."
Greg- "You're bringing my party down woman."
Erin- "I'm just letting you know that we sound nothing like Duran Duran."
Greg- "Rap sucks you know."
Erin- "That really wasn't neccessary."
Greg- "I'm just saying, you know."
Jim and Aidan
Aidan- "...nah nah, I understand that the bass is very important and that part you came up with is great.
Jim- "No, that's fine. I just wanted to hear you say it."
Aidan- "That's cool."
Jim- "So did you hear that keyboard part that I came up with tonight. Pretty great huh."
Aidan- "Yeah I did. Erin's part was really great too. It really closed the song out."
Jim- "Really. I didn't notice."
Aidan- "Yeah, remember for part B."
Jim- "What, yeah o.k., but your missing the point."
Greg and Erin
Erin- "...yeah, it's always been my dream to be on the cover of Tiger Beat Magazine."
Greg- "Really..."
