The Freezing Scene

writing musical history since 2006

About Me

“Eclectro” is a new musical genre that The Freezing Scene would—pretentiously enough—like to think that they have and are developing. Consisting of brothers Jason and Adam, these two strive to create an incomparable sound with an unconventional use of a keyboard, drums, mandolin, bass and dueling vocals. They began in the summer of 2006, and have since accumulated a few albums’ worth of original songs, routinely played shows (mostly in Northeast Indiana) and gotten the attention of the press on several occasions. Although The Freezing Scene tries to incorporate a wide-range of emotions, styles and dynamics, much of their music carries darker and socially-conscious undertones.
