Brian Schweitzer is an American politician from the U.S. state of Montana. Schweitzer is a Democrat and the current governor of Montana, serving since January 2005. Schweitzer currently has one of the highest gubernatorial approval ratings in the nation, with polls regularly showing a rating of around 70 percent. He is also the Recruitment Chair for the Democratic Governors Association for 2006-2007. Brian and Nancy Schweitzer have three children, sons Ben, 17, and Khai, 16, and daughter Katrina, 14.
