I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

MySpace - Mr. J. Shields
J. Shields, Mr. Make Things Happen
Born: Washington D.C.
Reared: Memphis, TN
C.E.O.,Southern Coalition Movement and Slum Records
Wassup, Myspace, I'm J.Shields, C.E.O. of Slum Records, Memphis, Tennessee. My purpose in setting up this personal page is first of all, to bring some more class to MySpace, where grown folks can sit back and relax with a mature individual such as myself. I am the proud father of four kids, two daughters and two sons. I am a very down to earth person, meaning, if you're trying to maintain and have something in life, we might be able to be friends and network.
My decisions are made mostly on business and my LORD and Savior, Jesus the Christ. While here in this MySpace world, I'm looking for strong minded and strong willed individuals who believe in their talents and skills, such as singers, dancers, rappers, models, coreographers, graphic designers, producers and engineers for music and video. I already have a team, and we do most of all the things I'm looking for. However, I'm looking to establish a large corporation of individuals with such talent and maturity where we can sit down and create wealth for ourselves and for our children's children.
So, if you feel that you can help me accomplish this goal, feel free to leave me a message via MySpace or email. The first nine members on my friends list are my artists. As you're feeling me and my swagger and the way that I carry myself on this page, I also ask that you support my artist as you support me. The record label, Slum Records, is a very down to earth record label. Everyone knows someone who used to live in th slum or have been slum once in their lives. I could have named the label after fancy cars, jewelry or money, but that's not me. Bottom line, my record label is nothing without ya'll-the fans, supporters, and promotion teams.
As stated earlier, if you feel that you can help me accomplish my goal, which is to become the next music mobile in this industry, feel free to contact me. But realize, I've been doing this a while independently, financing these projects straight out of my pockets, and no one is going to be able to walk through the door and think they will run my company, notice what I said, MY COMPANY. However, I am willing to share the fortune with the ones who deserve it. Maybe it will be you. Like I said earlier, promoters, and all such talent are welcome to contact me and we will sit down and put our heads together and see what we can come up with.
Yours Truly,
J. shields, CEO Slum Records

About The Southern Coalition Movement
The Southern Coalition Movement is a network put together by major and minor artists across the deep dirty south. This movement's sole purpose is to establish a working network of professional promoters, record labels, productions, video graphics, web and graphic design, choreography, etc. The S.C.M. is an inhouse network system with the goals of creating wealth, and unity promotion. This network system stretches nationwide.
To join this movement, you first must be about Money. Secondly, you must promote unity and finally, be able to lift up your brothers and sisters within this movement. This is a network system that will grow and is already growing dramatically, as it has a few clubs under its belt, several major and minor studios, as well as several graphic designers, web developers, professional writers and ghost writers, engineers and producers, models and choreographers, and basically, anything needed in this industry.
Please, do not waste your time trying to become a part of this movement if you are not serious minded. This movement is not for people who do not take their talents seriously. Our members have put forth much effort as well as sweat, blood and tears. If interested, please send us a message via myspace or email [email protected] .
