About Me

..
My daughter is the most important thing to me. Everything else comes second to her.
I'm one of those annoying people who likes to discuss the heavy shit. I want to know why we are here, whether or not we're alone, what are the cosmic rules, are there cosmic rules? I really enjoy learning how the people I care about understand the world around them in all its complexity. I'm very interested in what people think and why they think it.
I'm interested in things like Epigenetics or the quest for a Grand Unification Theory. It's high time we get to the gut of the matter! Pun very intended.
I ask a lot of questions.
I find Buddhism intriguing and I enjoy practicing yoga.
Animals are totally awesome and it's too bad that humanity at large mistreats them.
I love going fishing. Fishing is not mistreating animals when you kill 'em and eat 'em. Mmmm tasty fish.
I enjoy playing flutes and I have a talent for playing songs by ear.
I'm a big fan of simplistic living- I'm not a particularly materialistic individual.
I love travel.
The wilderness quenches my soul.
"There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, there is a rapture on the lonely shore, there is a society where none intrudes, by the deep sea and music in its roar, I love not man the less, but Nature more"
- Lord Byron
