Don't Get It Twisted!

About Me

Paul 'Steptoe' Riley & Carlene Graham joined forces after approaching each other amid the world of myspace & never looked back! Their initial meeting was in October 2006 when Steptoe required Carlene's vocals on his self-penned Funky House track 'Let It Go'. During this session, a real vibe was created & both were in complete agreement that it was about to be the first of many tracks together! No more than three weeks later, the two joined forces again & decided to focus on co-writing three good tracks (of no specific genre) which they could present to the music industry....little did they know that this was just the start of something good! With Steptoe's Roots background & Carlene's diva influences the two have progressed to successfully create their own sound - a fusion of House, Dub, Soul & Folk with an Experimental undertone....need we say anymore! Currently, the pair are seven tracks in on their debut album 'Don't Get It Twisted', due for completion 2007................UPDATE: In January we started playing about with some acoustic arrangements of the electro-dance tunes we had written and decided to do a few gigs.We are currently playing in and around London (venues to date include: The Cobden Club, Hard Rock Cafe & Leonards Bar).
