About Me

About Sound & Vision

Enjoy exclusive access to the world famous Abbey Road Studios on Thursday 28th February for Sound & Vision 2008.

Abbey Road Studios, home to John Lennon’s legendary piano and birthplace of some of the most influential music ever produced will host an exhibition of 50 unique pieces of music design, photography and art.

Guests will gain exclusive access to the recording studios where A Day in the Life, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and other seminal works were created whilst enjoying champagne and canapés throughout the evening.

We are lucky enough to have some of the most well respected and thought of designers and photographers, once again donating their incredible work to Sound & Vision. Robert Altman, Danny Clifford and Klaus Voorman are just a few of the names who have already declared their support for our 2008 event. A selection of last year’s pieces can be seen above.

On the night live auctions will provide guests with the opportunity to bid for a piece of rock history. Last year one lucky person walked away with John Lennon’s dinner jacket whilst another guest took home handwritten lyrics by Chris Martin of Coldplay.

Your evening will be punctuated with live musical performances. Previously performers have included All Saints, Mica Paris, Skye Edwards and Chris Difford of Squeeze. This year is set to be just as spectacular!

Sound & Vision attracts huge amounts of media coverage. Last year BBC and ITN London news broadcast from the event and it was also heavily featured in press such as The Guardian, Independent, The Times and OK!

Opportunities are available for sponsorship and corporate entertainment. For more information on our current event and media partners and for information on what we can offer you, please call the Special Events Team on 020 7009 8870 or see our website www.soundandvision2008.co.uk
