About Me

In a grungy Adelaide blues den, a 13 year old girl sang Steamroller Blues. She was precocious, determined and had the seed of an individual style and sound.
Sunny Koll wasn’t into the same music as others her age, she listened to Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughn and as she began hanging out and working with older musicians they opened her ears to Janis Joplin, Hendrix and the sounds of soul.
In her teen years it was school through the day and gigs at night before relocating to Melbourne to try her hand at the live circuit. As she progressed, record companies beckoned. Deals were made and songs recorded but nothing eventuated. For an Artist to leave the comfort of a record contract takes courage, faith and an understanding of who you are where you want to go.
Finally free from contractual obligations, Sunny self-funded her first album, carefully crafting the right team she began recording VAMP.
This debut release is an introduction to the great potential this new talent has to offer and a reflection of an Artist who is someone worth taking note of.
