About Me
First formed in January of 2005, Flaws of Thought originated out of Ozark, Missouri with four members: Joshua Schwanke (vocals) Chris Stennett (guitar) Drew Walker (bass) and Kris Bryant (percussion). Several months down the road, and after already having played a number shows throughout the state, the band picked up its fifth and final member, Daniel Renner (guitar). Since then they have continued to strengthen and expand their ideas of combining the heavy essence of metal, with a melodic, mature sound drawn from numerous influences. In doing this, the band has created a southern vibe that is felt throughout their music, and defines what Ozark Mtn. Metal truly is.
Their influences range from everything such as: Mudvayne, Rage Against the Machine, Pink Floyd, Superjoint Ritual, Lamb of God, Snot, Machinehead, Mastodon, Crowbar, Pantera, Atreyu, Hank III, Primus, Johnny Cash, Ozzy, The Deftones, and Korn.
In their short exsistence they have had the privilage to play with some established and national signed bands including: Chimaira, Jacknife, Losa, Dryline, Bobaflex, Fallen Day, Byzantine, Lupara, Hypnogaja, Hell Within, Presence, Dead To Fall, Remembering Never, Sinai Beach, The Absence, Divide The Day, Brick Bath, Dirty Sweet, and Vulpine.
